STORY

The Frontera was Vauxhall's body-on-frame SUV from 1991, based on the Isuzu MU/Wizard and offered in short-wheelbase Sport and long-wheelbase five-door forms. A popular choice in 1990s Britain, it offered four-wheel drive at an accessible price before being dropped in 2004. In 2024 the Frontera name was revived on an all-new front-drive electric and hybrid compact crossover.
