The Magnum was a range of saloons, coupes and estates launched in 1973, effectively a more upmarket rebadging of the Viva HC with larger slant-four engines. It was intended to fill the gap below the Victor with better equipment and more powerful 1.8 and 2.3-litre units. By 1978 it was overshadowed by the Cavalier, and production ended that year.
