The Royale was Vauxhall's flagship luxury car from 1978 to 1982, a rebadged version of the Opel Senator and Monza aimed at the executive market. It was offered as a saloon and as a fastback coupe, powered by straight-six engines. Low sales in Britain saw it discontinued in favour of selling the Opel-badged originals.
