STORY

The Victor was Vauxhall's mid-size saloon and estate, launched in 1957 and one of Britain's best-known family cars through to 1976. Early models gained a reputation for their American-inspired styling and also for rust, while the FD generation of 1967 brought 'Coke-bottle' lines. The Victor was a major export success and underpinned related models like the Ventora and VX.
