STORY
The VX220 was Vauxhall's lightweight two-seat sports car, produced from 2000 to 2005 and built by Lotus alongside the Elise on a shared aluminium-bonded chassis. Mid-engined and rear-wheel drive, it used Vauxhall's own engines including a turbocharged 2.0-litre in the VX220 Turbo. It was sold as the Opel Speedster in mainland Europe.
