STORY

The VF 8 was first shown as the VF e35 and was renamed in 2022. It became the first VinFast EV exported in volume, and the first ships reached California at the end of that year. Pininfarina contributed to its interior and exterior design. It launched with a software-first cabin that drew criticism, and VinFast updated it repeatedly after early US road tests. It is assembled in Haiphong.
