STORY

The Fox was the Brazilian Volkswagen Voyage sold in the United States and Canada from 1987 to 1993. The Voyage, the sedan of the Gol family, had been built at São Bernardo do Campo since 1981, and it and its Parati wagon sibling were reworked for the North American market, among other things with electronic fuel injection. The Fox was sold as two-door and four-door sedans and as a wagon, and it had one engine, a 1.8-litre four rated at 81 hp. A four-speed manual was standard and a five-speed was available. Sales ended after the 1993 model year.
