STORY

The Golf Plus made its world debut at the Bologna Motor Show in December 2004 and reached European showrooms at the beginning of 2005. It kept the Golf V's styling but carried a taller roof, about 1,580 mm high, and a more upright seating position, and by Volkswagen's figures it stood 90 mm taller than the Golf V. Volkswagen built it for about ten years, until 2014, when the Golf Sportsvan took its place in the range.
