Volkswagen Anhui launched the ID. Unyx 07 in Hefei on 23 May 2026, a fastback sedan built on technology developed with its partner Xpeng. Its first appearance came in Chinese regulatory filings in October 2025, which listed a 4,853 mm body on a 2,826 mm wheelbase and a single 170 kW motor. The launch car kept that motor and added a 60 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery with a CLTC range of 558 km. Two trims went on sale, Pure at 129,900 yuan and Pure SE at 139,900 yuan, with limited-time prices of 109,900 and 119,900 yuan.
A mid-size electric fastback sedan from Volkswagen Anhui in China, built on MEB-based hardware with the China Electrical Architecture co-developed with Xpeng. It went on sale in May 2026 with a single rear motor and an LFP battery.
