The ID.6 X is the six- or seven-seat electric crossover that SAIC Volkswagen builds at its Anting plant in Shanghai. Volkswagen showed it together with the ID.6 Crozz at Auto Shanghai in April 2021, after an online launch two days earlier. The ID.6 family rides on a 2,965 mm wheelbase, and Volkswagen describes a flexible layout of six or seven seats and a choice of two batteries. Sales of the X began on June 17, 2021.
