The ID. Unyx 08 was the first mass-produced model jointly developed by Volkswagen and Xpeng. Pre-sales opened on 26 March 2026 and Volkswagen Anhui launched the SUV on 16 April 2026, with three versions: the 630 km (CLTC) Pure at 229,900 yuan, the 730 km Ultra at 249,900 yuan and the all-wheel-drive 700 km Max at 289,900 yuan. Pure and Ultra use a 230 kW rear motor and CATL lithium iron phosphate packs of 82 and 95 kWh. The Max adds a 140 kW front motor and reaches 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
A full-size five-seat electric SUV from Volkswagen Anhui, built on Xpeng's 800-volt platform with CATL LFP batteries. Sales in China began on 16 April 2026, with rear-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions.
