STORY

The Volkswagen Jetta is a compact sedan derived from the Golf, introduced in 1979 to add a conventional three-box saloon body to the Golf range. Over successive generations it has carried names including Vento and Bora in some markets before reverting to Jetta globally. It has become especially popular in North America and China, where later generations are tailored to those markets.
