STORY

The Volkswagen Lamando is a sleek four-door coupe-style sedan from the SAIC Volkswagen joint venture, shown at the Chengdu Auto Show in August 2014. It rides on the MQB platform of the seventh-generation Golf and launched with TSI petrol engines and a seven-speed DSG. Chinese production began in November 2014, and a GTS version with the 162 kW 2.0 TSI has been offered since 2016. A second generation, the Lamando L, followed in 2022.
