STORY

The Volkswagen Lupo was a city car introduced in 1998, sharing its platform with the SEAT Arosa. It is best known for the Lupo 3L, a lightweight version using aluminium and magnesium components that was the first production car rated to consume under 3 litres of diesel per 100 km. Production ended in 2005, with the Fox and later the up! taking over the entry-level role.
