STORY

The Volkswagen Passat is a mid-size family car launched in 1973 as one of VW's first front-wheel-drive, water-cooled models, marking the company's shift away from air-cooled rear-engined cars. It has been offered across numerous generations as a saloon and estate (Variant), and is closely related to the Audi 80/A4 in its earlier forms.
