This Polo GTI (6N2) is a front-wheel-drive Mk3 (6N) hatchback with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, a manual gearbox, 125 PS and 152 Nm. It came with 15-inch BBS RXII wheels, xenon headlights with washers and suspension lowered by 10 mm. It never got the six-speed gearbox that the Lupo GTI, with the same engine, was given.

STORY

The Volkswagen Polo is a supermini launched in 1975, originally a rebadged version of the Audi 50. Over successive generations it has grown in size and been offered in hatchback, saloon, coupé and estate forms, becoming one of VW's best-selling models worldwide. The Polo was named European Car of the Year for 2010.
