The Polo GTI is a Mk6 five-door hatchback built from 2021 to 2024, with a 2.0-litre TSI making 207 PS and 320 Nm to the front wheels and 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. The facelift raised power from 200 PS and dropped the manual gearbox, so it came only as an automatic. The body sits 15 mm lower and the XDS differential lock is standard.

The Volkswagen Polo is a supermini launched in 1975, originally a rebadged version of the Audi 50. Over successive generations it has grown in size and been offered in hatchback, saloon, coupé and estate forms, becoming one of VW's best-selling models worldwide. The Polo was named European Car of the Year for 2010.
