STORY

The Volkswagen Routan was a minivan sold in North America from late 2008 as a 2009 model, a rebadged and restyled version of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans on the Chrysler RT platform, built at Chrysler's Windsor, Ontario plant. It was marketed to give VW dealers a minivan without developing one in-house. Sales were modest and production wound down by 2013-2014.
