STORY

The Volkswagen Scirocco is a sports coupé first launched in 1974, developed on the Golf platform and styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and it actually reached the market shortly before the Golf. It effectively replaced the Karmann Ghia and was produced through two generations until 1992, when the Corrado succeeded it. A third generation revived the nameplate from 2008 to 2017.
