Taigo 1.5 TSI R-Line

STORY

Volkswagen announced the Taigo on 30 March 2021 as a crossover derived from the Brazilian Nivus, which had its world premiere on 28 May 2020. German pre-sales opened on 2 September 2021 with prices from 19,350 euros. Series production began on 27 September 2021 at the Navarra plant in Pamplona, Spain, where the Taigo is built exclusively for Europe next to the Polo and the T-Cross. The first car was a red R-Line with the 1.5-litre 150 hp engine and DSG, bound for Germany. The Taigo is about 4.27 m long and rides on the MQB A0 platform shared with the Polo and the T-Cross.
