Tharu

The Tharu began as the Powerful Family SUV, shown on stage in China in March 2018, and went on sale there around the end of October 2018. SAIC Volkswagen builds it on the MQB platform, about 4.45 m long, and it is related to the Skoda Karoq. The Chinese range started with a 1.4 TSI making 150 PS and a 2.0 TSI that could be had with all-wheel drive. In October 2020 a related model for North America was unveiled as the Taos.
