STORY

Volvo revealed the EX30 on 7 June 2023 as a small electric SUV. The rear-drive Single Motor has a 200 kW motor, the Twin Motor Performance adds a front motor for all-wheel drive and 315 kW, and the Extended Range cars carry a 64 kWh usable battery, against 49 kWh LFP on the base car. Production started in 2023 in Zhangjiakou, China, and in October 2023 Volvo said it would also build the EX30 at its Ghent plant in Belgium from 2025. A Cross Country version was presented in February 2025.
