STORY

Volvo showed the EX90 in November 2022, and the electric SUV then waited until 2024 for series production. Work on software, and on safety hardware including lidar according to TFLcar, held it up, and the first production cars came off the line in June 2024 at Volvo's plant near Charleston, South Carolina, in Ridgeville. The first example was finished in Denim Blue, with its delivery to a customer planned for the following months of 2024.
