STORY

The S90 of 2016 is the large Volvo sedan that replaced the S80, which launched in 1998. It sits on the SPA platform, the second Volvo built on it after the XC90, and uses only four-cylinder engines, a break from the S80, which offered a 315 PS V8 until 2010. The T6 petrol with supercharger and turbo is rated about 320 PS, equal to roughly 316 hp, the T5 makes 254 PS and the D5 PowerPulse diesel 235 PS. The T8 plug-in hybrid was quoted at a system output of 407 PS.
