STORY
The Free was the first production car from Voyah, the premium new-energy brand Dongfeng established in 2020, and it reached customers in 2021. It was launched in battery-electric and extended-range forms on a shared platform, an unusual dual strategy that let Voyah serve buyers worried about charging infrastructure. A comprehensively updated version came later, with revised styling, a new interior and better range.
