STORY
The 353 stayed in production from June 1966 to October 1988, with the same three-cylinder two-stroke engine throughout, rated at about 50 PS. The 353 W followed around 1975 with front disc brakes, and a facelift in 1985 changed the front end and grille. The four-stroke Wartburg 1.3 replaced it in 1988.
