STORY
The VV7 launched the Wey brand in 2017 as its top model, a mid-size SUV with a coupé profile, created to take Great Wall upmarket from Haval. The brand is named after its founder Wei Jianjun. With the VV7 it introduced a more expensive interior, quilted leather and a long list of standard equipment at a price far below German rivals. The range later produced sportier GT fastback versions and the P8 plug-in hybrid derivative. From 2021 the Mocha and the rest of the coffee family replaced it in the lineup.
