Sir Paul Smith’s collaboration with Mini began in 1998 with a restrained production Rover Mini in a bespoke deep “Paul Smith Blue” with hidden citrus-green linings, and with the flamboyant multi-colour striped one-off shown here, dressed head-to-tail in his signature stripes. The partnership was reprised for the 2025 MINI Paul Smith Edition, unveiled at the Japan Mobility Show: quiet, tailored body colours lifted by Nottingham Green accents (a nod to Smith’s hometown) on the mirrors, grille surround and hub caps, with signature roof-edge stripes. It became MINI’s largest-ever special edition.
