The return of Type S performance
Debuting on the Pebble Beach concept lawn during 2019 Monterey Car Week, the Type S Concept marked the revival of Acura's Type S performance line after a decade's absence and evolved the Precision design language. The wide, low four-door sedan wore special Double Apex Blue Pearl paint made with nano pigments, extensive carbon-fibre aero, NSX-inspired headlights, 21-inch wheels, 285-width tires and yellow four-piston Brembo brakes. It heavily influenced the second-generation TLX Type S.
