Audi Le Mans quattro (2003)
Concept car · 2003 · Combustion

The concept that celebrated three Le Mans wins and became the first-generation R8.
Built to mark Audi's 2000-2002 hat-trick of overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this mid-engined supercar paired an aluminium spaceframe with a twin-turbo 5.0-litre V10 and quattro drive. quattro GmbH put it into production almost unchanged as the first-generation Audi R8, making it one of the most faithful concept-to-showroom transitions in Audi history.
