A stripped-back all-electric sport utility truck
Bollinger Motors revealed the B1 prototype in 2017, billing it as the world's first all-electric sport utility truck, a deliberately angular, utilitarian off-roader with a flat matte body and pass-through cargo bed. Dual motors drove all four wheels through portal-style geared hubs for high ground clearance, and Bollinger offered two battery sizes. The rugged design study led to the closely related B2 pickup before the company pivoted toward commercial vehicles.
