The electric SUV built around a 48-inch dashboard screen
Chinese-German startup Byton launched the M-Byte concept at CES 2018, defining it by an enormous 48-inch curved Shared Experience Display running the width of the dashboard, complemented by a touchscreen set into the steering wheel. Pitched as a connected, gesture and voice controlled electric SUV around a US$45,000 starting price, it offered a choice of rear or all-wheel drive and two battery sizes. A production-styled version followed, though Byton's financial troubles ultimately stalled the programme.
