Concept car · 2019 · Electric

An all-electric coupe SUV that launched Cupra's standalone EV identity.
Shown at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Tavascan Concept marked Cupra's first bespoke electric model as a newly independent brand. Built on the VW Group MEB platform, it used two electric motors - one per axle - for a combined 225 kW (306 PS) and a 0-100 km/h time of about 6.5 seconds. A 77 kWh lithium-ion battery gave up to 450 km of WLTP range, wrapped in liquid-metal paint with copper accents. It reached production in 2023.
