Announced in 2021 by Modena-based startup Automobili Estrema, the Fulminea is a quad-motor electric hypercar aiming for a class-leading power-to-weight ratio. Its headline feature is a 'hybrid' battery pack combining lithium-ion cells with solid-state electrolyte technology and ultra-capacitors, targeting roughly 100 kWh and a 520 km range. Estrema targets a sub-2-second 0-100 km/h time, with production limited to 61 units.
