Ferrari 512 S Modulo

Pininfarina's sliding-canopy wedge from another planet

Designed by Paolo Martin at Pininfarina on the chassis and V12 of a Ferrari 512 S sports racer, the Modulo is one of the most extreme wedge concepts ever built. Standing just 93 cm tall, it features a canopy roof that slides forward over the nose for entry, partly covered wheels front and rear, and an engine cover pierced by 24 round holes revealing the V12 beneath. Shown originally in black at Geneva and later repainted white, it is now owned by James Glickenhaus.
