Ferrari SP1 (2008)
Concept car · 2008 · Combustion
The first Ferrari one-off, penned by Leonardo Fioravanti.
The SP1 was the very first car of Ferrari's Special Projects (fuoriserie) programme, a bespoke one-off built for Japanese collector Junichiro Hiramatsu, who had previously headed the Ferrari Club of Japan. Based on the F430, its custom coachwork was designed by legendary Ferrari stylist Leonardo Fioravanti and drew on his 1998 F100 study. The aluminium F430 spaceframe was retained while entirely new carbon-fibre body panels gave the car a unique, timeless berlinetta silhouette.
