An all-electric premium MPV built around Japanese hospitality
The Hyper Tourer was Nissan's all-electric premium minivan concept for the 2023 Japan Mobility Show, widely seen as previewing a future Elgrand-class MPV. It rode on a skateboard platform with two motors for e-4ORCE all-wheel drive and referenced high-energy-density all-solid-state batteries. Twin opposing sliding doors created pillarless side openings, and the front seats could swivel 360 degrees for face-to-face conversation under autonomous driving, blending advanced tech with the spirit of omotenashi.
