Next-gen electric supercar with extreme claims
Tesla revealed the second-generation Roadster prototype in November 2017 with bold performance targets. Tesla claimed a 0 to 60 mph time of 1.9 seconds, a top speed above 250 mph, and roughly 620 miles of range from a 200 kWh battery. A three-motor layout drives all four wheels, and the launch has slipped past its original target.
