Vector W2 Twin Turbo

America's twin-turbo answer to the European supercar

The Vector W2 was Jerry Wiegert's running supercar prototype - the "W" for Wiegert, the "2" for its two turbochargers. Built around a twin-turbocharged 5.7-liter Chevrolet aluminum V8 with Bosch fuel injection, it produced well over 600 hp and was reportedly driven more than 100,000 test miles. Wiegert claimed a 242 mph top speed, though it was never independently verified. The W2 eventually evolved into the limited-production Vector W8 of 1990.
