Hideyuki Fujino
Drift legend · Japan

Late-career precision, decided by a single point.
The oldest champion in D1 Grand Prix history, Fujino turned a season-closing points deficit into a one-point title to claim his third D1GP crown in 2025.
Hideyuki Fujino drives the #66 for Team Toyo Tires Drift, campaigning a Toyota GR86 (ZN8) powered by a 2JZ inline-six. Born on 26 June 1974, he is recognised as the oldest race winner and champion in D1 Grand Prix history.
His 2025 title was the closest kind. Trailing Koudai Sobagiri by 19 points heading into the final round, Fujino overturned the gap to finish the season on 170 points against Sobagiri's 169, a one-point margin for the overall drivers' championship.
It was Fujino's third series title, following his 2017 and 2023 championships. In the same 2025 season, Team Toyo Tires Drift also secured the teams' championship.
