Kelsey Rowlings drifting her Ford-swapped Nissan 240SX "Drift Chick" S14 in Formula Drift PROSPEC

The original Drift Chick.

The first American woman to compete in Formula Drift, and the first woman to earn a Formula Drift Pro 2 (now PROSPEC) license.

Rowlings came up through the Orlando drift scene, learning the craft at local events before turning professional, and campaigns her Nissan 240SX (S14) known as the "Drift Chick" S14, distinctively Ford-swapped rather than running a traditional Nissan powerplant.

She made her Formula Drift debut in 2015, becoming the first American woman to compete in the series and the first woman to hold a Formula Drift Pro 2 license, qualifying into competition despite fielding one of the lowest-horsepower cars on the grid at the time.

She has continued in the PROSPEC class across seasons, steadily developing the car, pushing it toward 800 horsepower by 2024, and mentoring newer women entering the sport.
