Bahrain runs the most regular grassroots drift programme in the Gulf: the Ebrahim K. Kanoo Drag and Drift Nights, Mondays from six to eleven, drag strip and drift park on the same evening. The 2026/27 calendar lists ten dates between late October and late March, three of them in November and three in January.

That regularity is the point. A championship round is one weekend a year; a standing Monday night is where a scene actually forms. Everything goes through scrutineering first, then out onto either the quarter-mile strip or the designated drifting car park.

Red Bull Car Park Drift has come to Bahrain repeatedly, including the 2022 national qualifier that fed the world final in Jeddah. The venue around all of it is the Formula 1 track at Sakhir, 5.41 km, fifteen corners, open since 2004.
