Where the Chinese national championship was launched.

In January 2024 this circuit hosted the launch of CDGP, the Chinese national drift championship approved by the General Administration of Sport and CAMF, with a champion's purse of 300,000 yuan and a top class running to a thousand horsepower.

The launch was the ceremony, not the season: the rounds themselves travel between cities, starting at a different Beijing venue that year.

Goldenport also trains drivers toward the CAMF class-B drift licence the championship requires, one of several accredited schools, and a licence on its own is not enough to enter.
