Mt. Myogi (妙義山)

The second pillar of the Gunma touge scene.

One of the four courses of Initial D's First Stage, alongside Akina, Akagi and Usui, and the home stage of the Myogi Night Kids, though the story keeps sending them to Akina to lose. Thirty-one years after the manga began, people still drive these roads because of it.

Drifting on a public road here is charged under the Road Traffic Act: the safe-driving obligation for one car, joint dangerous acts for a group, noise on top. The prefectural road carries cat's eyes down the centre line and long runs of rumble strip.
