Denmark's first national drift championship started here.

Built beside a working airfield near the German border, Padborg carried the Dansk Drifting Serie, the first nationwide Danish drift championship, through its 2013 season, hosting both the opening round in May and the title finale in October.

The weekend format was the one the sport settled on everywhere else: qualifying on Saturday, single and twin battles on Sunday.
