Where the Gatebil season opens, every May.

Gatebil starts its year here at the end of May, the first of the season's festivals, ahead of Mantorp in June and Rudskogen in July. For a Scandinavian driver the Våler weekend is the shakedown: whatever was built over winter either works here or gets fixed before the main event.

The circuit also carries rounds of Norgescup, the cup series for the Grassroot and PRO2 classes. Only Grassroot is exclusive to it: PRO2 drivers run the national championship, NM, as well.
