ORIGIN Labo Nissan Z33 Fairlady Z display car in the full DRIFT LINE kit at Osaka Auto Messe 2025

JDM body kits with bumper-grille DNA. The S-chassis classic.

The S13/S14/S15 kit you have seen in every grassroots event photo for the last fifteen years. Origin Lab built the aesthetic that turned a budget rear-drive sports car into a deliberate visual statement, slammed, scraped, ground-effect-heavy.

Origin Lab opened in the late 1990s in Japan as a body-kit specialist for the S-chassis platform. The catalogue runs deep on S13, S14 and S15, front bumpers, side skirts, rear under-pieces, fender flares, every part designed to interlock into a complete kit so a budget car looks intentionally aggressive without needing custom fabrication.

The aesthetic language is ground-effect-heavy: large lower lips, deep side skirts, exaggerated rear diffuser detail. Set on a slammed S-chassis with deep wheel offsets, it became the most-replicated grassroots drift look of the 2000s and 2010s. If you have ever scrolled photos from a Friday-night practice session at any track in Japan, the US or Europe, you have seen an Origin Lab car.

The brand is still operating, still iterating the catalogue, and still the budget-conscious answer for builders who want their grassroots S-chassis to read as a deliberate statement instead of a parts car.
