The Acura NSX is a mid-engine sports car first launched in 1990 as a supercar that could be used every day. Ayrton Senna gave input during development, and it had a pioneering all-aluminum body. Its naturally aspirated VTEC V6 and sharp handling showed that a supercar could also be easy to live with. A second generation arrived in 2016 as a 573-hp hybrid with three electric motors and a twin-turbo V6.
The NSX is Acura's halo supercar. It was first launched in 1990 as the world's first mass-produced car with an all-aluminum monocoque body, and Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna gave input at Suzuka during its development. The second generation arrived in 2016 with a twin-turbo V6 and a three-motor hybrid all-wheel-drive system. Both generations combined everyday usability with exotic performance.
