STORY
The 328 replaced the 308 GTB and GTS at the 1985 Frankfurt Motor Show, alongside the Mondial 3.2. Restyled by Pininfarina, its V8 grew to 3,185 cc, rated at up to 270 PS, and it kept the transverse mid-engined layout with a five-speed gearbox. Optional ABS arrived in 1988, along with a new wheel design. Production ended in 1989 when the 348 took over, after 7,412 cars, of which 6,068 were the targa-roofed GTS and 1,344 the GTB.
