STORY

The GMC Suburban was GMC's full-size body-on-frame SUV, the marque's version of the long-running Chevrolet Suburban carryall. Offering three rows of seating and truck-based towing capability, it served large families and commercial users for decades. GMC replaced the Suburban name with the Yukon XL for the 2000 model year to align with the Yukon SUV branding.
